In 2019, the submission of Schengen Visa applications was outsourced to the VFS Global Application Centre. Through this partnership, the Embassy improved its customer service, by having more appointments available during the opening hours of the Visa Application Centre.

From 15 January 2022 onwards, this service will only be available for Malaysian nationals, who wish to study in Germany.

The German Visa Application Centre is operated by VFS Global. Visa applicants may make their visa appointments at VFS Global directly and submit the visa application at the Visa Application Centre.

The VFS Global Visa Application Centre in Kuala Lumpur is located at:

All other nationals will still have to submit their visa application at the German Embassy after having booked an appointment through the Embassy's website.
